Abstract

In this paper, molecular dynamics and some multiscale methods are reviewed, including the temperature-related homogenization technique for nanoscale continuum approaches and the bridging domain coupling method. Those methods have been applied to solve different engineering problems, such as materials science and material phase change problems.
