Effects on properties of Diesel by blending of various Biodiesel blends in it

Abstract

In this paper the biodiesel is produced from vegetable oil which is generally available in market. In general, diesel fuel does not give 100 % efficiency in C. I. engine, but from result of many researcher in biodiesel, biodiesel gives better efficiency than regular diesel fuel. In this present work, the biodiesel has been prepared from Sunflower oil, Castor seed oil and Mustard seed oil and their mixture (i.e. Mixture of Sunflower oil and Castor seed oil S+C, mixture of Castor seed oil and Mustard seed oil C+M and mixture of Sunflower oil and Mustard seed oil S+M) by transesterification process. This biodiesel blended in regular diesel with different proportions (i.e. 5%, 10% and 15%). Finally, characterization of different properties of different proportion blending of biodiesel in diesel, and compared it with Diesel.
