Abstract

Now a days solid waste management is major problem for a cities because of lack of land. In this paper I give idea about the SWM for Shrirampur city with help of municipality. The work focuses on the collection, transportation, treatment and disposal of solid waste generated from city. Solid waste management system reduces the transportation cost of solid waste as well as it helps in treatment and disposal of solid waste.
