Comparative Study of Researches Published in the Past Decade on Short Term Load Forecasting

Abstract

Load forecasting has become an important field for research in recent years due to deregulation of market. Many approaches are used to forecast electrical demand which includes classical and statistical approach. In this study overviews of the researches have been done in last decade has been segregated and analyzed based on two criteria?s. Firstly, Methodologies employed/work done on the Input given to different models and Secondly, Work done on the main models itself.
