A review on Quality certification in Automobile Industry

Abstract
This paper discusses the introduction and implementation of ISO 9000 quality standards in Indian car industry performing a comparative Study of Quality certification processes in Indian Automobile Industries environment and Quality certification processes using different criteria. Some more specific objectives are identifying the Quality certification processes used by the companies; identify key performance measures, criteria applicable for quality evaluation, Impact of JIT Implementation and ISO 9000 certification on TQM.
