Industrial & Home Appliances Control Using GSM Module

Abstract

There are several manners of defining Internet of Things (IOT), which explains what, happens when different THINGS connect with one another or with the internet. Here, in this actually, there is no use of internet; but, there is utilization of GSM technology for controlling industrial & home appliances safety, running status and security. The considerable advantage of GSM technology is to promote appliance control from a far off location which in turn conserves man power by giving wireless access to the devices. In this, GSM establishes wireless standardized communication between consumers & industry and no use of seprate communication network. The whole process though will not be instantaneous; but, will not take too much time. Time delay between sending the SMS and switching ON of the device will be around 0.7 seconds.
