Abstract

This A pulverized coal-fired boiler is an industrial or utility boiler that generates thermal energy by burning pulverized coal also known as powdered coal or coal dust that is blown into the firebox. The basic idea of a firing system using pulverized fuel is to use the whole volume of the furnace to allow enough time for the combustion process to be completed. The Mixing chamber designed for the pulverized coal fired boiler is based on Valve and sensor Feedback. It is a fully automated mixing chamber which can adjust air-fuel ratio going into the boiler based on the specific loads/Power required. All the metric data like Pressure, temperature will be recorded on computers allowing for smoother and efficient workflow. The A/F mixture can be made leaner by allowing increased air flow onto it or richer by restricting the amount of air flow into the mixture. This delivery is automatically controlled by usage of valve based on feedback from the user via actuation signal from the arduino board into the motor.
