Abstract

XRCS-Edge spectrometer is a high-resolution X-ray crystal spectrometer, for the measurement of ion temperature and plasma rotation, which is to developed and delivered to ITER-Organization by ITER-India, IPR. This system is mounted very close to the ITER machine over the Interspace Support Structure (ISS) and connected to Closure Plate of an Upper-port. In the events of machine movement during: baking operation, plasma operation or seismic event, a suitable bellow is required to be placed in the sight-tube of the spectrometer. In this paper it shows the design and optimization of moment compensator like bellow for edge spectrometer chamber. Which is for ITER XRCS Edge spectrometer chamber. The purpose of bellow in moment compensator is to prevent edge spectrometer chamber with consider thermal and displacement load. In this paper develop 3D model CATIA V5 and ANSYS v16 is used for the FEA analysis.
